THE PALACE SHOWN BY THE QUEEN

Holding hands with the Queen D. Maria Pia de Saboia, who married King D. Luis I, children are led to discover all the delights of the only Royal Palace that is nowadays open for visits in Lisbon. Where did the kings use to sleep? Where did they use to celebrate Christmas, their Birthdays and Carnival ? What did the little princes use to play at along the huge corridors of the Palace? Where is the polar bear that protects the Queen? How many chairs has the great banqueting hall? These are just a few of the curiosities that the Queen will reveal. It is a private visit to the nineteenth century Court.
