ALONG THE WAY WITH FERNÃO

Staged visit to the Galeotas Pavilion of the Navy Museum with Fernão de Magalhães (1480-1521). In the year that marks the 500th anniversary of the first travel arounf the world, we bring the adventures of the Portuguese navigator and explorer Fernão de Magalhães to the Navy Museum. This tour has as set the boats’ sails of the Galeotas Pavilion, together with Tejo’s breeze and the most important building from the portuguese Discoverements age – Jerónimos Monastery. Children and adults are welcomed by Fernão de Magalhães to relive the adventures and amazing discoveries of the greatest voyage in history: the first circumnavigation trip around the globe. An unforgettable experience that will feature a theater workshop in which visitors will experience history told in the first person with the Navigator.
